The TriVillage Mentor League provides mentoring-related experiences to school-age children in partnership with teen and adult volunteers to promote well-being, leadership, and volunteerism in a community-supported setting.

Founded in 1995 as an initiative to offer more youth support locally, and managed by a volunteer board of TriVillage residents, this central Ohio nonprofit organization serves the TriVillage communities of Marble Cliff, Grandview Heights, and Upper Arlington in a variety of ways.

After-School Mentoring Programs

TriVillage Mentor League creates and delivers after-school mentoring programs in the style of the highly successful Big Brothers Big Sisters programs. These programs are not otherwise available from Big Brothers Big Sisters in the Grandview Heights and Upper Arlington school districts.

Mentoring makes a difference! Children who receive mentoring frequently improve their school performance and social skills. According to Big Brothers Big Sisters' annual evaluation of central Ohio after-school mentoring programs, over 60% of the participants improve their academic performance. Even more report a more positive sense of the future. Nearly 80% report greater self-confidence and an increased capacity for expressing their feelings.

Summer Camps

TriVillage Mentor League collaborates with local Tim Horton's franchise owners to nominate TriVillage area children to attend Tim Horton's Children's Foundation summer camps.

College Scholarships for Youth Mentors
